Emotional Intelligence. The more you know, the more you grow.

Emotional intelligence is essential for understanding and managing your emotions, especially when stress or trauma feels overwhelming and seems to take over your life.

Therapy can significantly enhance your emotional intelligence by:

  • helping you identify and make sense of your feelings,
  • recognize patterns of behavior, negative thought processes and bodily sensation of your symptoms,
  • help you to respond to challenges with greater self-awareness and resilience,
  • and create lasting change based on your values

As you grow in emotional intelligence, you'll feel more empowered to make informed decisions about your healing journey, gaining the tools to navigate life with clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.

I'm sharing a link that I use with my clients, "The Understanding Series", because I have found it to help them connect to their responses to trauma. These videos truly help to normalize why we all respond the way we do. It may help you to feel a bit better.

This is directly from the Synima website:

"Synima believe animation is unique in its ability to communicate complex psychotherapeutic ideas in creative and relatable ways.

We produced this series of animations to combat the huge increase of presenting problems post Covid. These are completely free to download and use from the page below.

Since publication they’ve been viewed globally, being saved and shared over 250,000 times by hospitals, private clinics, learning departments, therapists, teachers, parents and of course, individuals.

Synima’s Founder, Quint Boa, is a fully certified psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience working with individuals and organizations."
